Description of Services: Services and support for adults with speech and language difficulties of an acute neurological basis which may include:
  • poor understanding and/or use of language 
  • motor speech disorders
  • reading and writing difficulties post stroke
  • head injury or other neurological impairment (i.e. Parkinsons)
  • swallowing impairment

* services are part of a team-based approach with occupational therapy and/or physiotherapy

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Adults and older adults with new-onset neurogenic speech, language and/or motor speech difficulties * Transgender youth and adults * Not a single service program * Must require multi-disciplinary services
